Scams & Fraud: Awareness is the Best Protection


As more aspects of our lives move online, malicious actors are hard at work finding new ways scam people out of their money. The good news is that we can do a lot to protect ourselves from cybercriminals like these by simply being aware of how they operate.

  • If we reach out to you, we will never ask you for sensitive information, such as your name, social security number or address. 

  • If we reach out to you, we also won’t ask for your login credentials or other access to your account, such as your password, PIN, or account number. 

  • We welcome your calls to verify any such request you have received - a quick call to our member services line can help you determine if a message or request you received by phone, text or email was legitimate or not.
