Durham, NC | January 21, 2020 – On Thursday, January 23, 2020, Self-Help Credit Union’s (self-help.org) new regional branch in Raleigh, NC opens to the public. The new branch, located at 7029 Harps Mill Road, will expand financial services to existing members and grow our membership base in the Raleigh, NC and surrounding area.
Founded in Durham in 1980, Self-Help is a nonprofit community development lender, real estate developer and credit union that serves communities traditionally underserved by conventional markets. Self-Help has provided over $9.1 billion in financing to 172,309 families, individuals and businesses across the country.

Self-Help Raleigh branch hours will be as follows:
- Normal hours: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
- Extended drive thru hours: Friday until 6 pm
