Our 2023 Annual Report is now available! Through 2023, we have continued to demonstrate significant impact and are grateful to be part of your community.

We are excited to give you the numbers, share some incredible member stories, and let you know how we plan on continuing to create economic opportunity and promote financial inclusion for all.

  • 517 affordable home loans for families
  • $360 million in financing, with 84% going to low-income borrowers
  • 2,822 childcare or public charter school spots created or preserved

  • After rent increased substantially, Serigne Seye of Creative Design & Tailoring in Chicago got a Self-Help loan to purchase a commercial space for his business.
  • Self-Help approved a loan to CASA, a NC-based organization, to fund the construction of affordable housing to unhoused communities.
  • Ernesto and Solanlly Medrano worked with a loan officer at our Sacramento, CA, branch who helped them access a down payment assistance program to purchase their dream home.
  • We are proud to continue providing financing to Marshall High School in Middletown, Ohio, which provides students with alternative scheduling, dropout prevention, and vocational training to accommodate for financial hardship and family crises.
