Affordable Housing Preservation Funds

We offer a variety of loan funds designed to increase access to affordable housing in North Carolina. These programs support the development and preservation of affordable rental housing options for low- and moderate-income residents.

Our funds help to:

  • Create new affordable housing: Support the construction of new rental units for families and individuals with limited incomes.
  • Preserve existing affordable housing: Prevent the loss of existing affordable housing stock through acquisition, rehabilitation, and refinancing.
  • Support acquisitions for future affordable housing: Allow developers to acquire properties and hold them while making a development plan for building/preserving affordable units.
